Scratch is a block-based coding language designed especially for young people ages 8 to 16. With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations. It helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

Students are learning with Scratch at all levels (from elementary school to college) and across disciplines (such as math, computer science, language arts, social studies). The computer science concepts used in Scratch can be applied to other advanced programming languages, like Python and Javascript.
